So ...what do you do with all the scraps of yarn, 

old sweaters ,scarves  and bridesmaid dresses you have collected over the years???

Think Pink

Over the past year I have been collecting pop tabs

 for a purse I want to make.

 It still is on my to do list, just need more tabs

However in the meantime

 I just wanted something pretty pink and shiny.

soooooooo.......

Some pink ribbon from my ribbon stash,

leftover vintage wooden bead from a previous project

 and of course ...pop tabs

and my new baby was born

Purses, purses and more purses...

* Fleur de Rouge *

2 VHS tapes and 1 huge red Plastic bag from Sears(the one that held my pretty boots) were sacrificed to make this bag.
For the lining I re purposed a pair of capri pants that no longer fit.
The handle and drawstring were crochet with the red plarn , vhs tape and a drawstring from a leather jacket that lost it's life in a previous project.
The snap button closure came from my button collection.

All in all this baby is made from 100 % up cycled materials.

Satisfy your Eco Chic

Once again I combined my love for crocheting with VHS Tapes.

2 VHS tapes were sacrificed along with one DVD,

a vintage necklace was dismantled and a few beads were re purposed for the handle

 along with a sachet from a top that was used in a previous project.

The lining of course is also re purposed fabric

....and now one of my pants is missing a zipper...

because this purse just had to have one .

All in all 100 % upcycled
